Kure Bazaar was founded by a supermodel, Kartika Luyet, and make 10-free nail polishes that are a favorite with some celebrities, including at least one genuine princess, purportedly. Their formulas are free from toluene, formaldehyde, dibutyl-phthalate, synthetic camphor, TPHP, parabens, xylene, styrene, benzophenone-1, and benzophenone-3. The polish is made in France with around 90% natural ingredients, including wood pulp and vegetable and seed oils.

So, Kure Bazaar’s polish has a few troublesome chemicals in the mix, such as n-butyl alcohol, isopropyl alcohol, and FD&C colors, and are not entirely plastic-free, given the presence of polyurethane. However, they are generally free from known toxicants and the company also houses its polish in glass bottles and lids made from recycled plastic.
