Michele C. Hollow

Michele C. Hollow cares deeply about the environment, sustainability, and animals. Often, these topics overlap. As a kid, Michele took zoology courses at the Bronx Zoological Society. She still enjoys learning about and spending time with animals. Birding is her newest hobby.

As a journalist, she specializes in covering climate, pet care, autism, health, and mental health. Her byline has appeared in The New York Times, WebMD, GoodRX, Parents, AARP, The Guardian, The Ultimate Guide to the Animal Mind, Symphony Magazine, and other print and online publications. She’s a member of the Association of Health Care Journalists and the Society of Environmental Journalists.

Michele was recently interviewed on iHeart Radio about her work at LeafScore.

Her interests are varied and she loves learning about new subjects; for Michele,  it’s one of the best parts of being a journalist.

She’s worked as an editor and has authored a few books for children. She wrote a middle grade book about the Grateful Dead and coauthored a book about Minecraft with her son.

She lives in New Jersey with her husband, son, and two adopted cats. You can connect with her on Twitter at @michelechollow
