Our Sol Organics Review
Sol Organics was established in 2010 by Vishal Naithani and Sachin Chauhan to “bring ethical integrity to a marketplace saturated with inequality, abuse and dirty cotton.”
They wanted to produce eco-friendly textiles using organic cotton while ensuring equality for all employees. In particular, they were committed to finding a factory that carried certifications including FLO, GOTS, Oeko Tex and Fair Trade, and they found one in India.
This factory had everything they wanted for their products: “a transparent supply chain from farm to factory to fabric, using only non-GMO, certified raw 100% organic cotton, manufactured in a FLO-certified factory”. They also work with proven partners in India that invest in the health and well-being of women and children and are committed to eradicating child labor. Workers make a living wage.

Sol only use 100% organic long-staple cotton, grown from non-GMO cottonseeds, with a commitment to better farming practices that reduce their carbon footprint, conserve and protect drinking water, and keep everyone safe from harmful chemicals. The longer cotton fibers make for stronger, smoother yarn and are spun into single-ply yarn for light, long-lasting sheets.
Their products are made with organic cotton that is grown and processed without pesticides, chemical fertilizers or dyes. Their bed sheets are not processed using industrial solvents, irradiation, or genetic engineering. Products are free from formaldehyde, pesticides, herbicides, endocrine disruptors and phthalates, and are safe from hazardous chemicals and dyes like NPE/NP, Organotins, PFC & Antimony.
Sol Organics offer a range of eco-friendly sheets made with GOTS certified organic cotton in accordance with Fair Trade practices.
Sateen sheets best for winter. Their sateen sheets have a 300 thread count and are silky smooth with a luminous sheen, luster and excellent drape. Thanks to that tight weave, they are soft and cozy and especially good for winter.
Percale sheets better for hotter climates. The Sol Organics percale sheets are crisper and cooler, making them a great option for summer.
Our Experience with Sol Organics
We have used Sol Organics sheets and have had a positive experience. The sateen sheets are soft, durable, and were perfect for a long Jackson Hole winter. For the price point, and the certifications offered, Sol Organics is difficult to beat.

Sol Organics vs. Savvy Rest, PlushBeds, and Sleep & Beyond
Sol Organics are a bit of a newcomer in this category, going up against the decades of experience and strong reputations of Holy Lamb Organics, Coyuchi, and Rawganique.
Still, if you’re looking for fairly inexpensive organic cotton sheets in a variety of colors, Sol Organics are a good option, and the company has some good eco-credentials for these products.
They also offer more colors than Savvy Rest, PlushBeds, and Sleep & Beyond and have more Fair Trade clout.
