Overview

Some product listings state that the loft on these pillows is just 2.5”, but this is incorrect as the company intentionally overfills the pillows to give you plenty of room for adjustment. Their pillows are available in Standard/Queen (View Price on Amazon) and King sizes (View Price on Amazon), measuring as follows:

Standard/Queen: 28” x 20”

King: 36” x 20”

PureTree pillows use GOTS and Control Union Certified Organic Cotton, OEKO-TEX Certified natural latex, and are machine washable. They do carry a fairly strong rubber smell fresh out of their packaging, compared to most other latex pillows in this category, but this dissipates over a week or so.

PureTree donate a dollar from each pillow sold to WorldVision charity, which helps plant fruit trees to provide food for families in need.

PureTree vs. Savvy Rest, Rawganique, and Organic Textiles

There really isn’t much to choose from between PureTree, Savvy Rest, Rawganique, and Organic Textiles when it comes to shredded latex pillows. These are all preferable to Malouf in terms of eco credentials, and the choice may, in the end, simply come down to pillow size and cost. PureTree’s pillows are a little less expensive than most, but are also a little smaller.
