David Markowitz is a forest ecologist who specializes in carbon accounting, climate change mitigation strategies and general ecological principles. He previously worked with the US Forest Service, the Bureau of Land Management and startups working to tackle natural resource management. David is a member of the IUCN and works with international organizations to ensure that the planet has a sustainable future. He is based in Florida and is an avid hiker, biker, and kayaker.
